Born and raised in the Bronx, New York, Tamia has always seen possibilities where others saw limitations. At 18, she moved across the country alone to attend the University of Southern California, becoming the first person in her high school’s history to do so. Since then, her life and career have been shaped by curiosity, discipline, and a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms.
Tamia’s career has been in the e-commerce and digital space, where she has contributed to powerhouse brands like Fenty Beauty, Ole Henriksen, Momentous, and MeUndies. These experiences gave her a sharp eye for what makes an online shopping experience feel seamless, intentional, and human.
After a difficult corporate experience where she was laid off, Tamia decided to build something of her own. That vision became Transparent Solutions, a User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) consulting and Shopify development agency that helps e-commerce brands identify opportunities for growth and implement them with clarity and care.
As CEO and Founder, Tamia is deeply involved in the client experience from start to finish. She leads business development, connects directly with Shopify-powered brands, and consults on each project. She checks in with clients throughout the process, ensuring communication stays clear, progress stays on track, and every solution aligns with the brand’s goals.
When she’s not running her business, you’ll likely find her trying new things such as pottery, taking floral arrangement classes, and learning how to waltz.

Abigail’s path into software engineering wasn’t traditional — and that’s exactly what gives her work its edge. Raised in Southern California and originally trained in psychology and criminology, she discovered her passion for technology after seeing how thoughtful, well-built tools could shape behavior, build connection, and make people feel seen.
After pivoting into tech through Ada Developers Academy, Abigail quickly made her mark across startups and mid-sized companies. She’s led backend initiatives for mission-driven apps, built scalable systems in Python and Golang, and connected services through clean and secure Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Her work has powered everything from meditation experiences at The Heart Center to integration frameworks supporting thousands of users at Salesforce. She brings deep care to the details, and a calm, curious energy to every sprint.
At Transparent Solutions, Abigail focuses on Shopify development and project management — combining her technical expertise with a sharp eye for systems, flow, and collaboration. Whether she’s customizing storefronts, implementing thoughtful app integrations, or keeping projects running smoothly from kickoff to delivery, she’s driven by one core question: how can we make this more efficient, more elegant, and more human?
